Thank you so much for all your amazing generosity. We have been truly overwhelmed and humbled by the kindness that you have shown us.

We cannot believe that we have almost reached our initial target of £100,000. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are still investigating which course of treatment will be best for Ollie but we have been told that he will need 2 years of treatment. We have just found out that there may be a chance of receiving it in London - we are meeting the consultant tomorrow. If this is not an option we will have no choice but to go to Austria.

However with this treatment alone costing €280,000 and the London treatment potentially costing a similar amount, we know that we need to continue fundraising.

We need to raise funds to give our 12 yr old son Ollie the treatment he needs to save his life.

He was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the 19th May 2015. He underwent an 8 hour operation where only half of the tumour could be removed. Following this he lost the ability to speak, swallow, stand, walk or use his right hand. He has had to re-learn all of these things. He underwent a further 2 brain operations, followed by 3 cycles of chemo, 34 sessions of radiotherapy and then a further 7 cycles of chemo. He maintained an amazingly positive cheerful and polite manner throughout. The nurses would ‘argue’ over who got to care for him!

We had started to dare to believe we had beaten cancer, when we got the devastating news that he had badly relapsed. His condition is now traditionally considered 'incurable', but there is a new treatment, only available abroad. He faces a gruelling year, but this is his only hope. Ollie has come through so much and is so loved.
